Solid authentic Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Chile verde chilaquiles plate with steak. The tortillas chips were not soggy and had a good crisp to it. I liked the fresh green salsa that was served with the meal it had a nice lemon mild flavor to it wasn't watered down like most salsas at restaurants. The rice was good and so were the beans. I also had the horchata and it was well balanced not too much sugar nor cinnamon. The service was excellent we got serviced within 15 min of waiting on a Sunday morning. We waited around 15 min for our food not bad considering they had a full house. The restaurant was fully staffed and functional. I only give it 4/5 stars because the meat was a little dry and didn't have much flavor. I Wish it was more tender. I would recommend this place and I also will be returning to try other dishes. Good job mex cocina cafe
Came here with my girlfriend because she was craving Chilaquiles. This place did not disappoint! Their service was excellent, clean environment, good music, and the food was 1000/10 would definitely recommend others to give this place a try if they haven't yet!
Five stars for authentic perfectly seasoned homemade Mexican food. The food you grew up eating at home or a loncherĂa, la plaza dominguera, a la cenaduria. The smells and flavors of mexico are nearly impossible to achieve elsewhere. It's not only about the spices or following recipes. Also five stars for authenticity in the work place where servers are cordial, polite and direct just like in mexico. Space is quaint and well organized. Festive and crowded yet you feel very comfortable sitting inside or if you prefer sidewalk seating it's nice too. I walked out of there looking forward to my next visit. It's been way too long since I've said that or felt that way. Glad I found this little Mexican gem. CafĂ© de olla, hats off, the best I've had this side of the border. When you know you know.
Service was great, food was just okay. I ordered the chille quillas and it wasn't as good as they said. The portions were large and pricing decent. LOVED the Mexican cokes!! Decent place. I would go again. Parking is limited.
Food was on point, service was amazing and welcoming. A place I will return to have real authentic Mexican dish. Also the coffee de olla was so delicious!!
Truly no complaints. Finally got a chance to try this place out. They are always packed for breakfast/brunch on the weekends, so for today no wait time :) We sat outside but they also have inside seating. We were sat promptly and asked what we would like to drink. They quickly brought out our beverages. The iced cafe the olla was really tasty, sweet and cinnamon-y! Had to go with the chilaquiles options on their menu but they have a lot of options... sweet, savory, Mexican, and American classics. We ordered the: - Chilaquiles Verdes - Chilaquiles a la Bandera (red and green sauce) For an additional cost you can add meat to them like steak, chorizo, machaca, etc. Food was brought out fairly quickly and we dug on in. The rice is fluffy and the beans are good. Both sauces are not spicy but have a nice flavor and slight kick to them. Both plates had a good amount of meat to them too. The plates were fully loaded and delicious. Servers checked on us frequently and were very friendly. Definitely recommend.
